T he history of this estate date back to the 17th Century, when the property belonged to an important Florentine family, the Compagni, who had it for over 2 centuries.
Afterwards bought at auction by another local family, the Ranieri Morali, and then passed into the hands of some other noble people of the age, it is still intact in the structure and internals, as beautiful as they were when built.
Description of the villa:
The villa is disposed on three floors for a total surface of 1000 square metres.
The ground floor, with external access from the old stable, is composed of six rooms to be restored and three cellars.
Accessing the villa from the eastern side, we find: entrance with reception, double living room, tv room, kitchen, two bathrooms and dining room.
The first floor, reachable from the internal staircase, comprises five bedrooms with bathroom, two of which with panoramic terrace.
The ceilings are with wooden beams and terracotta tiles and “graniglia” floorings.
On the second floor there are five other bedrooms with en suite bathroom, Tuscan style restore, with old terracotta flooring and ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta tiles. From this floor we access the tower, where it is possible to create a sixth bedroom.
The back side of the property includes some cellars on the ground floor and an apartment to be restored on the first floor.
Description of the annexes:
Other than the villa, the property includes also some annexes to be restored.
A)Barn of approx. 600 square metres to be renovated. Placed next to the villa, its has already a project of restoration to create three apartments.
B)Annex of 300 square metres disposed on two levels, which comprises two apartments to be restored on the first floor, each of them with three rooms and two other rooms: a cellar and a garage.
C)Farmhouse of 400 square metres including annex of 100 square metres, both about 300 square metres from the villa. There is the possibility of moving the annex somewhere else within the property.
The garden that surrounds the property comprises two swimming pools of 9 x 18 and 6 x 6 for children.
The property is completed by a wide plot of land of approx. 76 hectares including: 2 hectares of vineyard, approx. 1000 plants of olive grove, 2 hectares of park and small poplar wood.
