 The area where this property lies has been inhabited ever since many ages ago.
The first inhabitants were the Etruscans, who came here around the IV century .
This area used to be one of the through-joint of the road that linked Cortona to Perugia by passing through the Trasimeno lake.
A famous battle between the Romans and the Carthaginian, who won.
The estate, which develops for more than 300 hectares, dominates the valley from a superb position and offers a panoramic view on the nearby countryside.
Destroyed after a blaze around 1400, was reconstructed after two centuries.
The restoration, recently operated by using high quality materials, has brought back the property to its ancient splendour by creating 7 apartments with excellent finishes.
The estate composes of 9 buildings, four of which are used for a rental business.
The main villa
The villa, 600 square metres in all, is disposed on two levels and is disposed as follows.
Ground floor: reception, restaurant, kitchen and bathroom.

Casale Cervo
